  3. 1. This picture reminds me of spider legs covered in cob webs.
    2. I feel like someone got a fire torch and melted the creek there intentionally.
    3. I want to climb inside this mess because it looks like a fort that I built when I was a kid.
    4. This looks like the beginning of all the Twilight movie previews!
    5. Is that fire at the bottom? This looks like a forest fire is about to start! Where's Smokey the Bear?!
    6. This looks like a place where I want to ride my mountain bike on! Even though I've never been mountain bike riding!

  6. 1.It's just tonal values, and I've never liked any technically black and white photo more than this.
2.I want to know more about what's happening in this picture. Is that stream frozen?
3.The straight snow on dark branches and trees is something you clearly do well.

6.This picture gives the impression that the snow is ended, and the worst of winter is over.

  8. First off Kevin Good Job.
1.) I love pictures with snow and now this picture is at the top of my list. This picture also makes me impatient for Christmas. I like how the snow clings to everything.
2.) I don't particularly like this one because of the background behind the river. I wish you would have taken this photo from another angle.
3.) This picture makes me want to go out and play in the snow. I like the fallen log underneath the snow.
4.) I like the fog in this shot. I also like the reds in the bushes.
5.) I really like how you edited out that pole that was in the way. It really changed the photo.
6.) I like the angle of the hillside.

  11. 1. As Bri said when we discussed this, props for shooting in the snow. Great texture. I would like to see more contrast with the branches.

    2. Good composition, vanishing, and use of the rule of thirds. Id like to see more editing, and not have the branches toward the top be cut off.

    3. Nice juxtaposition of the trees and the snow in the front. I would like to see a straighter horizon line and to have the colors really brought out.

    4. Wonderful texture and great capture of the fog. You're editing is so great and subtle and really makes this picture pop.

    5. What Joseph/Mr. Long was saying about taking the picture being only a mere step within the process really stands out here. The editing is very nice and this looks wonderful, especially because shooting in the snow can be difficult.

    6. The textures, flowers, trees, and how they are framed with each other is the best aspect of this photo. Great composition, I would love to see more of this style.
